The outer shell and bandage of the Thorocare Legwrap is Dupont Cordura-Lycra®.

Dupont developed Cordura-Lycra primarily for outdoor expedition gear such as backpacks, duffle bags and other hiking and camping carrying pouches. Not only is Cordura-Lycra durable and abrasion proof, it is also a breathable material that allow air to flow through.

Thorocare lined the Legwrap in Cordura-Lycra to provide durability to the product while the horse is in the stall and to assist the Dupont Coolmax Pique's role of moving sweat and moisture away from the horse legs to the outside elements.

Of equal importantance, the controlled 2-way stretch of this remarkable fabric allows for even pressure bandaging. The legwrap will not bind the horse’s leg.
